Colin Fleming established Bankside Garage in 1996, to give customers in Ilkley and the surrounding area a real alternative to expensive main dealers and chains. Over the years customers have come to rely on our team of highly skilled, qualified and experienced technicians to maintain and repair their cars quickly and efficiently at an affordable price.

Our modern workshop on East Parade is equipped with dealer level diagnostic tools from Snap-On and Bosch, a dedicated MOT testing bay and all the equipment required to perform any job, large or small. We are specialists in German models such as Audi, BMW and VW, but equally skilled working on all makes and models.

At Bankside Garage we pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop. We are qualified and have the expertise to carry out the full range of services that any customer might need, from bulbs to engine rebuilds and as such are Ilkley’s leading, independent specialist garage. We’re friendly, honest and always take the time to assess a vehicle thoroughly and discuss our findings and recommendations with the customer up-front.
